The purpose of Honor Flight Northwest Georgia is to fly our local Bartow County WWII Veterans to Washington, DC, to visit their memorial, dedicated to honor their sacrifices. 

Funds raised will be used to pay for the aircraft, ground transportation, supplies and meals for the veterans.  We hope to raise the needed funds from both the local business community and from individuals who would like to honor our veterans.

Facts:
• Approximately 1,200 World War II (WWII) veterans die each day.
• Sky-rocketing healthcare costs have wiped out the life savings of most WWII veterans and their spouses.
• Veterans of WWII have waited over 60 years for a memorial most of them will never live to see.
